Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Speedonest website and platform (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What Speedonest is

Speedonest is a peer-to-peer marketplace that helps people find rentals — flats, PGs, and flatmates — by connecting them directly with owners and existing tenants, with no brokerage. Speedonest is an intermediary platform only. We are not a real estate broker, agent, landlord, or party to any rental agreement between users.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep it updated.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.
• You agree to provide truthful information in your profile and listings.
• You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

4. Listings and conduct

You agree that you will not:

• Post false, misleading, fraudulent, or duplicate listings.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with a property.
• Harass, abuse, spam, or harm other users.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Scrape, copy, or misuse data or content from the Service.

We may remove listings or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are harmful to users.

5. Dealings between users

Speedonest facilitates introductions but is not involved in the actual rental transaction. Any agreement, visit, payment, deposit, or lease is strictly between you and the other user. You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence — verifying identity, property details, and terms — before entering into any arrangement. Speedonest does not guarantee the accuracy of listings or the conduct of any user.

6. No brokerage, no guarantees

The Service is provided free of brokerage. We do not guarantee that you will find a rental, a flatmate, or a tenant, nor that any listing is available, accurate, or suitable.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Speedonest is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from dealings between users, inaccurate listings, or the use or inability to use the Service.

8. Intellectual property

“Speedonest”, the Speedonest logo, and the platform’s content and design are the property of Speedonest and protected by applicable laws. You may not use them without our permission. Content you post remains yours, but you grant us a licence to display and distribute it as needed to operate the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
